Worship at Ridgefield United Methodist Church grounds our community through corporate prayer, the heritage of living scripture, reflection on daily life and vibrant music. We begin with praise singing to help us transition from the busyness of our lives to a time when we can center ourselves in God’s presence. We engage the scripture and respond to the sermon in a short time of reflection, discussion and offering. We support one another as we share the events of our lives in prayer. Our choir and praise team lead us in both traditional hymns and brand new praise songs. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and everyone is welcome to participate.
Worship reminds us of our identity as beloved, forgiven and called children of God. Worship softens our hearts and strengthens our minds, helping us to be better people. Worship transforms us from individuals into a strong community. Worship is a place we can laugh and cry. The best way to know what worship is like at RCUMC is to be our guest for a Sunday. We look forward to worshiping with you!
